Frthr elements 2026

After a DNF back in 2025, I am back racing Frthr Elements this year. 500-600km (dependent on weather) around the Scottish Highlands. This year it's running a whole month later: 19th - 22nd November. Racing in the Highlands in November. Yikes.

This year, we will be racing in memory of Max Riese - last year's winner and an icon in the ultra-racing community. I only met Max a handful of times, but his smile was infectious and his devotion towards inclusivity in the sport unwavering. Max was involved in a tragic cycling accident near his home just a few weeks after finishing second in this year's Silk Road Mountain Race. Max will be riding alongside all of us in Scotland this year.
